MyConsumables

The Situation
Kurt had a clear idea: make it easier for NDIS participants and providers to access and manage consumables. But he needed a technical partner to take that idea and turn it into a real, working product — from scratch. There was no team, no codebase, and no roadmap. Just a vision and a problem worth solving.

What We Built
We took the project from zero to launch in under 90 days. That meant mapping out user journeys, scoping core features, choosing the right tech stack, and building a clean, intuitive app tailored for NDIS participants and providers. We built a modular, API-driven architecture to support future growth, integrated NDIS compliance requirements into the platform, and established a design system to keep the experience consistent across screens. We wore a lot of hats — product manager, lead developer, sometimes designer — keeping stakeholders in the loop and the build moving forward the whole time.
The Result
The platform launched in under 3 months with 200+ active NDIS participants and providers on board. Early users came back repeatedly — more than 90% returned to place new orders in the very first month, thanks to intuitive navigation and features like quick reorder. To date, over 1,000 orders have been successfully placed through the platform, processing more than A$500,000 in consumable purchases — validating real-world need and proving genuine market fit.
